Quality Monitoring of Resistance Spot Welding Based on a Digital Twin

As an important means to realize intelligent manufacturing, a digital twin is expression of physical entities, which realizes virtual–real interaction and the iterative optimization product design manufacturing by constructing bridge information mapping between world virtual world. Resistance spot welding technology widely used in automotive aerospace other fields as linking process for manufacture thin sheet structures. The fusion nugget growth resistance particularly its joint quality. highly nonlinear coupled process, models make it difficult accurately monitor Taking 2219/5A06 aluminum plates with different thicknesses research object, applied plate. In order improve key technologies such system, data acquisition system established real-time processing based on wavelet threshold analysis proposed.
